On 20 and 21 October, IT leaders from across Western Australia came together at The Westin Perth for the 2026 WA IT Leadership Summit.
Omnia Global was proud to be there as a Gold Partner, with a booth on the floor across both days and a fireside chat on the main stage on day two.
It was two days of honest, practical conversations about where technology is heading and what it means for the people who run it. Here's a look at what we got up to.
On day two, our CEO Paul Glass took to the main stage for a fireside chat with Armin Adineh, Head of Information Technology at MercyCare, and Christopher Hunt, Enterprise Account Executive at Zoom.

The session started with a problem every IT leader knows well. The context behind a project or a customer conversation is scattered across email, chat, meetings, phone calls, documents and the partners and suppliers involved. Zoom calls this the dynamic context problem, and it is a big part of why teams lose time chasing information instead of acting on i

One message landed clearly with the room: transcription is not understanding. Capturing what was said in a meeting or a call is only the first step. The real value comes when AI understands what matters, connects it to the right context and helps people get the work done.
Armin brought the practical view from inside MercyCare, sharing what it takes to put these tools to work in a real organisation with real people and real service demands.

Paul spoke to Omnia Global's role in that journey: helping WA organisations set up the Zoom platform, bring their people along and get genuine value from it, with local support when they need it.

Across both days, our team ran a booth on the event floor, showing how Zoom can help organisations go from conversation to completion.
Visitors saw a live demo of Zoom Virtual Agent Concierge, showing how AI can take care of everyday enquiries so teams can focus on the conversations that need a person.

We also handed out our Zoom Information Booklet, a quick guide to Zoom Workplace, CX and AI. As a Zoom Silver Partner, we provide setup, training and local support right here in Western Australia, and the booklet is a simple starting point for teams weighing up their options.
Thanks also to Armin and MercyCare for sharing their story, to Christopher and the Zoom team, and to everyone who stopped by the booth or joined us for the session.
